Overview
Handling Emergencies in Practice
Frequently emergencies can cause commotion - unsettling an idyllic day in the practice and everybody’s focus on providing proficient patient care. But, emergencies are part of what a dental practice does.
Patients believe they can be seen right away when in pain or if they have an out of the blue issue in their mouths, and they want the situation fully resolved in that one appointment. How can you seize control, handle expectations, and make the most of patient care without having the appointment disorganise the day that you had scheduled?
Course Description
In this course, we look at how to identify the clear aims of an Emergency Appointment to make sure your Front Desk Team can take control of such circumstances successfully whilst maintaining patient care.
With the course you will also receive additional communication tools that will help you deal with unrelenting patients who attempt to take control of your appointment diary, and some useful guidelines on how to pre-block emergency appointments to make sure you can still have an organised day and maintain patient care.
