  • Course topics will include:

      • Develop a good understanding of orthodontic procedure terminology.

      • Thoroughly understand the different types of orthodontic treatment and orthodontic appliances.

      • Learn the names of orthodontic equipment, procedures and stock. And their uses.

      • Learn your role and the procedural steps required for orthodontic appointments., including bond-ups and de-bonds.

      • Describe and identify Classification of Malocclusion.

      • Understand the importance of oral health in relation to the care and management of appliances. Including steps on delivery of a good oral hygiene talk.

      • Understand the Retention phase of treatment and its importance.

  • Although there is no specified time limit, studied part time this course can be completed within 3 months.

  • You can start as soon as your enrolment is processed and you receive your course pack (typically within 3 -5 days).

  • This is a distance-based course with tutor support included; learners will be provided with a hard copy of learning and assessment materials which they will receive typically within 3 -5 days of enrolment. Of course, all our support services are also provided as needed.
