Overview
BBVs In Practice
Blood-borne viruses (BBVs) are transmitted by blood, or other body fluids containing virus. This happens when the blood or fluids enter into the body of a susceptible person. The whole team within a dental practice is potentially at risk of contracting a Blood Borne virus.
Therefore it is essential for all team members to receive full training and be aware of the potential risks of transmission and the safe working procedures that must be adhered to at all times.
