In this course, we look at how to prevent cancellations and “fail-to-attends” through using powerful communication tools and protocols to synchronise the surgeries with the front desk. We also identify systems for managing cancellations when they do happen and how to best to deal with those late patients.

We will demonstrate how by bringing down the amount of cancellations and successfully administrating the appointment book, you can reduce your practices overall cancellation rate whilst keeping it still running smoothly.

This courses goal is to empower the dental team to reduce disorder to the day at the same time as preserving relationships with patients.

  • Course topics will include:

      • How to promote responsibility with your patients so that the incidence of cancellations are reduced.

      • How to prevent cancellations from occurring both in the surgeries and at the front desk through using communication skills and having team procedures and an effective cancellation policy in place.

      • How to follow each cancellation to get a handle on the amount of cancellations in the business and where they usually originate from.

      • Supporting your team to deal with cancellations effectively with protocol and policy.

      • Converting your frequently late patients into punctual patients.

      • Getting the entire dental team united and clear that prevention of cancellations is a group endeavour and it needs systems in place that everybody needs to stick to.

  • Although there is no specified time limit, we do recommended completing as soon as possible in order to get the most out of the course.

  • You can start as soon as your enrolment is processed and you receive your course pack (typically within 3 -5 days).

  • This is a distance-based course with tutor support included; learners will be provided with a hard copy of learning and assessment materials which they will receive typically within 3 -5 days of enrolment. Of course, all our support services are also provided as needed.
